One of the most commonly used bearing accessories is the adapter sleeve, which is used to fix the tapered bore bearing to the cylindrical journal:

1.Smooth shafts

2.Stepped shafts

This attachment is easy to install and does not require the use of other devices to fix it:

When used on smooth shaft, the bearing can be fixed to any position on the shaft.

When the adapter sleeve is used on the stepped shaft, it can be used in conjunction with the L-shaped spacer ring to fix the bearing more precisely to the given position on the shaft, so it is easy to install and remove the bearing.

Our sleeves provided metric adapter sleeve with metric inner holes or British adapter sleeves with imperial inner holes. The adapter sleeve is slotted and provided with locking nut and locking device: 

1.Use nuts and locking washers for smaller sizes.

2.For larger sizes, use nuts and locking clasp or locking plate.
